Inkling is the product of a three-year artistic collaboration between photographer Jack Heathcote and poet Leo Vincent - an exploration of the changing of the seasons, the seasonal nature of mental health, and an accidental study in friendship. This 74-page debut zine from Spirewood Press consists of twenty-nine original poems spanning a variety of styles - from romantic to phonetic, shorter form to epic. Each poem is carefully paired with a photograph from award-winning photographer Jack Heathcote, including landscapes, abstracts, and wildlife photography. Each 1st Edition copy includes an original suminagashi artwork and a zine cover art sticker. Each copy is also hand stamped, numbered and dated by the authors. Five of the first fifty copies will be limited editions with unique red artwork. These limited editions will be given at random to five lucky recipients!
